Experience
I graduated from Western State College of Colorado with two bachelor’s degrees. I am a licensed elementary teacher. I’ve lead and taught curriculum to adjudicated high school students in a wilderness therapy program. One of the highlights of my career so far has been guiding high school students on numerous world trips to Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Belize and British Columbia, Canada, teaching outdoor education. Before I went back to school to become a teacher I studied travel and tourism and received a degree in Commercial Recreation. This brought me to work at a few ski resorts, and to work in tourism in both Hawaii and Alaska teaching much about the sciences. I really enjoy teaching a variety of subjects and feel comfortable with students of any age or special need.
